Teachers’ day was celebrated in ABC Public School on 5th September on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The celebration took place in great enthusiasm and joy. The school auditorium was richly decorated with flowers, festoons, and colourful banners. The principle of the school inaugurated the function at about 11 p.m. by garlanding the portrait of the great education in Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
All the teachers of the school and the special guest were greeted with flowers and gifts. A cultural function like dance, drama, recitation was presented by the students of the school. Some of the senior teachers delivered a nice speech on Teachers’ Day.
The greatest attraction of the day was Mr. Pijush Agarwal, the Rashtrapati award winner of the school. He was a retired teacher of the school. All the teachers as well as the principal appreciated everybody’s stage performance. The chief guest and the principle both delivered a short speech on the significance of Teachers’ day. The program ended up with the distribution of sweets at around 2:00 p.m.
