Sub: School Picnic Letter
My dear friend,
I am just back from a picnic and I feel eager to share my Joyful feelings with you.
A picnic is a time of pleasure and enjoyment. Everybody like it. Generally, an attractive spot is selected for picnic. We also chose the famous mango-garden in Malda district for our school picnic.
You will be very glad to know that we were taken for a picnic by our teachers just before our winter vacation. We gathered at our school before 6:00 a.m. with all necessary items. We went there by bus. We took with us various utensils, rice, pulse, fishes, meat, gas, oven, etc. We had bread, fruit, eggs, sweets, cold drinks with us for breakfast. Some of the senior students had cameras with them. Our Principal was accompanied with us.
When the bus started, all the students shouted with joy. As it was a short journey so we reached the picnic spot soon. After reaching the mango garden we finished our breakfast by 8:30 a.m. After having our breakfast we begin to cook. Shyam, Rahul, and Piku took the leading part in cooking.
It was a very beautiful spot. This place was surrounded by many green mango trees. There was a nice flower garden beside our picnic spot. We also visited the colourful flowers. We enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing at the nice spot. Our teachers also joined with us.
At about 1:30 p.m. our lunch was ready. We, the students, took our bath in the river close to the garden. After finishing our bath we took our launch on banana leaves. Though the lunch consisted of various items, it tasted very delicious to our hungry tongues.
We thus had a very present time. In the evening, we returned home. We all were tired but happy. We enjoyed our picnic very much. Still the memory peeps into my mind.
