My dear friend,
How are you? I hope you are well. I am well too. I am writing this letter to share with you how we celebrated Republic day at our school. Republic day is celebrated on 26th January every year.
We observed this day with all solemnity. The function began with the flag hoisting ceremony in the morning. Then we all sang the national anthem together. The local MLA was the special guest of the function. The headmaster gave an inspirational speech. The special guest also gave a short speech. The members of the NCC marched past with drums beating. Then some students sang patriotic songs. Some students recited patriotic poems of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. I really enjoyed that day. So that was my celebration of Republic day at my school.

Your loving letter is just to hand. You have wanted to know how we have celebrated republic day this year in our school. So I am writing this letter to tell you how we celebrated republic day at our school.
This year Republic Day celebrated in our school last Tuesday on 26th January. We celebrated this day with all solemnity and grandeur. The function celebrated at 7 a.m. in our school premises. At first, our headmaster hosted the national flag. Then we saluted the flag and sang the national anthem together. Our headmaster gave a motivational speech. He spoke on the solemnity of the occasion and the significance of this day in our life. The chief guest came and he gave a short speech. The students of the NCC marched past with drums beating. Then the students presented various cultural programs like patriotic songs, patriotic poems, folk dances. We had a lot of fun on Republic day.
