My dear friend,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing the letter to tell you about how we celebrated Earth Day in our school.
To celebrate Earth Day, the campus was beautiful adorned with flowers, festoons, and banners. Various activities were conducted and the main purpose of the celebration was to bring awareness around among the students about our environment. I participated in writing an essay competition on single use plastic and I secured the first position in this competition. Around 300 saplings are planted around the school campus.
One of the highlights of the program was a beautiful presentation on climate change and deforestation by a student of class 10. Everyone was very impressed by this presentation. The celebration ended with a speech of the principle on how to love our environment and how we should protect it.
