My dear friend,
Your letter is just to hand. You have wanted me to give you a description of my town. So I am writing this letter to tell you about my beautiful town.
The name of my town is Arambagh. It is situated in the district of Hooghly in West Bengal. The river Hooghly flows by our beautiful town. The town is connected with Howrah by a highway. The buses run regularly on this road. There is a hospital, a police station, three higher secondary schools, and a college available in my town. Most of the people are businessmen in this town. There is a public library in the middle of the town. The library has a good number of books.
But my town suffers from congestion. The whole atmosphere is polluted with dust and smokes coming out of the various vehicles. There is a beautiful park beside the river Hooghly. In the morning people go for a stroll to keep themselves physically fit. Men and women rush towards the cinema halls for the evening show.
In fact, town life is pleasant with various amenities. People can live here as they please. There is sufficient provision for a pleasant diversion as you live in a village so I am inviting you to spend a few days during the upcoming winter vacation. Here you will enjoy the advantages of town life. If you come, my parents will be very happy. I am eagerly waiting for your positive response.
