Sub: Celebrate Diwali Without Crackers Letter
My dear friend,
It’s been a long time since I have not received a letter from you. Hopefully, you are doing well. I know that your favorite festival ‘Diwali’ is coming soon. I am writing this letter to you to wish you and your family a very happy and safe Diwali.
Diwali is the festival of lights and joy. On this happy day, everybody eats sweets and plays with crackers. But I was thinking that this time we should celebrate Diwali without crackers. As you may be aware, air pollution and noise pollution are at all-time highs. The bursting of crackers increases noise pollution and air pollution. If things keep on this way, I am worried there won’t be enough breathable oxygen in the air to go around.
Sometimes accidents also took place and children are injured. We can use our money for important purposes instead of bursting firecrackers. In this way, we can save money and keep the environment beautiful.
I want you to celebrate Diwali with sweets and lambs only and you will enjoy this festival without any harm or injury. For the benefit of our own health, I hope you will also advise your friends to say “No To Crackers” this year. I am confident that you will not let me down.
Please convey my regards to your parents and love to youngers.
Your loving friend,
Your name
